About Us
Callie's Corner is a short film presented in the style of a dark children's television show. It explores the hidden emotions we experience internally, feelings that often go unseen in our daily lives. This project is shown through both a projector and a television screen.
Progress
1. Pre-production: Brainstorming & Storyboarding
Our concept focuses on visualizing internal emotions and how they’re expressed outwardly. We decided to use two screens: the projector showed how emotions are externally presented, while the TV displayed the internal mindspace (thus the pink toned scenes representing as the brain).
2. Production: filming
The filming took place both in the studio and outdoors, and we get to transitioned between locations efficiently, capturing all scenes in a day. We recorded the audio directly through the camera to keep the natural ambience.
3. Post-production: editing
Paola and I dedicated a full day to edit the film together, ensuring seamless cuts, reliable audio and color grading that matched our vision.

To have smooth transitions, we decided to put some B-rolls in the scenes.
